Almost 60 years ago, a young Greek shoe craftsman
worked tirelessly, day and night, cutting leather,
gluing and stitching, and hand-crafting every pair
of shoes for sale throughout Western Europe.
This shoe craftsman was unknowingly sowing the seeds
of greater things to come. Creating artisan, high quality products of limited
editions, using meticulous attention to detail,
was the only way he knew how to make shoes.
His
dynamic commitment, persistence, knowledge and attention
to detail, was somehow passed down to his grandson,
Jeremy Angelis. "My grandfather was an incredible man whose hard work, dedication, love and guidance will be cherished by me and he is always there in my thoughts, guiding me".
Whilst working with an Italian shoe
manufacturer commissioned by various luxury brands,
Jeremy began to conceptualise and create his own
designs.
This followed with an exhaustive search to find
an artisan manufacturer, and successfully resulted
in Jeremy's first collection - confirming his passion
and ability for designing exquisite and sensual, luxury
women's footwear.
NICOLINA, the exclusive, luxury designer footwear label was born.
