Athena is the goddess of wisdom, war, strategy, justice and skill. A companion of heroes and goddess of heroic endeavour. Athena had the city of Athens named after her. The Athenians built the Parthenon on the Acropolis in her honour. As a child I studied Greek Mythology and was inspired by the inner strength & beauty of this goddess. |

From Ancient Greek meaning "helper" or "defender", Alexis was inspired partly by the English riding boot. I wanted to enhance it and create an understated luxury boot. Hence the addition of the three braids of leather and suede and a decorative leather lace. Ideal for walking in the city or country, weekdays or weekends. A comfortable, luxurious boot available in both chocolate and black. |

Monica is inspired by the sensual female form. Sensuality seems somewhat overlooked today. I wanted to highlight the sensual parts of a woman's foot, using oval (Greco/Roman-inspired) shapes with sparkling diamantes. The name Monica, is a tribute to an Italian, brunette beauty I adore (after my wife!) - the illuminous Monica Bellucci. The Italian actress epitomises 'la dolce vita' in the 21st century...she oozes considerable charm. This is so powerfully intrinsic in the soul of my Monica footwear creation. Every woman deserves to wear Monica to experience and delight in her charm and sensuality! |

Angelina

Angelina is inspired partly by my infatuation with modern day screen siren, the beautiful Angelina Jolie who with little effort manages to always sparkle like the diamantes on our Angelina shoe!
The meaning of Angelina derives from the Greek 'angelos' which means 'angel'. Coincidentally my surname is 'angelis' but my friends would reassure you I am far from that! |
